A mom of five was found dead in a trash can in New York City, officials said.
On Wednesday, Sept. 16, authorities responded to reports of an unconscious woman in need of assistance in the vicinity of Belt Parkway and Knapp Street, near Plumb Beach, in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, the New York City Police Department tells PEOPLE.
Upon arrival, first responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
A man alleged that he and his friend were parking their vehicle when they hit one of the trash cans in the lot, according to CW affiliate WPIX. When he went to move it, he noticed that it was heavy, after which a garbage bag fell out of the bin.
