Footage of the bathroom confrontation, shared by father-of-two Tyler Brodsky, quickly went viral
A man who caused uproar online after calling the police on a dad who took his daughters into a female toilet has paid the price professionally.
The unidentified bloke has been given the boot by a Mississippi real estate firm that he worked for after footage of his outburst went viral on social media.
The bizarre incident that unfolded at a service station in Alabama has sparked an interesting debate online in regards to what parents are supposed to do in this situation – and who was in the right.
Father-of-two Tyler Brodsky shared a clip to TikTok on Tuesday (16 June) which documented the tense encounter he had with a man while he was taking his two children to use the toilet.
The dad explained he had pulled over for a short break while driving from Florida to Oklahoma with his offspring when he was approached by a disgruntled chap who wasn’t happy that he was inside the women’s bathroom.

In the footage, the bloke can be seen on the phone to authorities while complaining that his wife and mother-in-law did not feel comfortable using the facilities while Brodsky was present.
The customer can be heard saying: “There is a man with his two little girls using the women’s bathroom. He is washing his hands with his daughters right now.
“[My wife] is waiting to use the restroom with her mother who is very ill, who is on life support. He is refusing [to leave] and taking his sweet time.”
Brodsky’s young daughters were seen becoming upset as the confrontation continued, while an employee at the service station named Melissa tried to console them alongside their dad.
The war of words then continued when the dad left the bathroom with his daughters, before a number of police officers later arrived to deal with the complaint.
In the caption of his post, Brodsky claimed that the facilities were ’empty’ when he arrived, hence why he decided to take his children in.
“I’d rather do that than bring two little girls into a men’s bathroom full of grown men and dirty stalls,” he wrote.

“This guy comes barging in yelling, scares my daughters, and somehow thinks THEY should’ve been in the men’s room instead,” Brodsky said. “Am I wrong here?”
The majority of social media users were in firm agreement that the dad had made the right call, and it appears as though the police officers who responded were of a similar opinion.
In a follow-up video updating people on what had ensued after he left the bathroom, Brodsky explained that a trio of cops who were ‘very professional and very nice’ thankfully ‘de-escalated the situation’.
“One of the officers was talking to me and the man and explained that the situation wasn’t as black and white as many people may think,” he said. “They pointed out that taking two little girls into the men’s room could be viewed just as negatively as me being in the women’s restroom with my girls.
“They tried to make sense of it, understand both perspectives but ultimately there was really nothing they could do. They let me know I was okay, that I didn’t do anything wrong, they were very reassuring.”
