Liz chose without hesitation, and boldly made her life-changing decision: she left her marriage and chose to save lives.
From Burden to Humanitarian Message
Liz’s career has not been easy or without challenges. Initially, rescuing so many Bull Terriers was considered “unreasonable” or a “heavy burden” on anyone. But Liz saw in every dog a life worth a new chance.
Her garden has been transformed into a safe haven for an abandoned, violent, or neglected dog.
She kept receiving more, until there were thirty dogs — each with a painful story, each in need of new confidence, and love that gives them hope.
Countless sacrifices… And results worth all the effort
Liz doesn’t know much rest; sleepless nights, heavy expenses, endless daily efforts… But she insists on continuing on the path.
She struggles financially with the support of volunteers, and believes that:
“Who depends on you… You can’t give it up.”
Despite all the difficulties, she sees hope in the eyes of her dogs, tails dancing with joy, eyes shining again, and life resurrected.
